Hello and Welcome to the Mane Stream Reining Website.

Orginally, this site was created to promote the Reining horse interest of my friends and clients. Even though I have recently retired from teaching and training in the lower mainland of BC, I have not lost my passion for the Reining horse. Through this site, and other avenues, I will continue to compile knowlegde about the sport, as I complete a book called "Circles in the Sand ... a Rookie guide to Reining". My future goals include purchasing my own Reining horse (as I have been completing on clients horses) to fulfil my desires for the competition arena.

Recently we added pages are promoting 2 exciting new businesses. Firstly, Simply Bookkeeping is a home base acounting company owned by my daughter, Shannyn Smith. Shannyn has completed her degree in Accounting as of April 2008, after 3 years of study. She has also accumulated 3+ years of experience in the Accounting and Bookkeeping industry. Shannyn plans to continue her education over the next several years to become a Certified General Accountant. She is presently the Treasurer for the Western Canadian Reining Association.

The second new business is Tidysmith my own Professional Organizing and Home Renovations business. Tidysmith has been up and running for over a year now, and I am finding it a very pleasant way to express my creativity.
